IODA Delivers First-Ever Amazon MP3 Global Exclusive With Kris Kristofferson’s Legendary Publishing Demos
Never-Before-Heard Recordings Available for Digital Download Only at Amazon Now Through May 11
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – 04/27/10 — IODA, the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music industry, has coordinated a one-of-a-kind roll-out for a one-of-a-kind album. Please Don’t Tell Me How The Story Ends: The Publishing Demos, 1968-72 features unreleased recordings from legendary singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson. IODA’s marketing services arranged a first-ever worldwide digital exclusive on Amazon MP3 for the album’s launch. Released by Light In The Attic Records, a label known for innovative reissues and care of historic recordings, the label worked with Kristofferson’s blessing over the past five years to compile the 16-song collection of unreleased material after it was discovered in Nashville.

For the historic album, IODA Marketing Services conceived andcoordinated the worldwide digital exclusive album sale at Amazon MP3, the first of its kind for the retailer. It will be exclusively available in all Amazon MP3 stores (United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France) from April 27 through May 11, 2010. During the same period, Amazon.com will offer an exclusive CD sale in the United States.
NPR Music, an industry leader in music discovery, will present an exclusive on-demand stream of the album beginning April 26 as part of its “First Listen” series at http://www.npr.org/music.
